Narrative Weakness

I have some serious lack of control when it comes to watching Youtube videos. I don't necessarily watch a ton because I like to go out and get active during my days, but when I get on Youtube and start watching my favorite channel, The Minorities, I absolutely cannot stop. These guys go to Sacramento State University and they walk around doing hilarious challenges, have absurdly funny interviews, and answer followers' questions. Every time I see even the word minority or simply Youtube in general, their videos pop into my head and I just have to start watching. The Minorities aren't the only thing I have a narrative weakness to though. The movie Saving Private Ryan and the song Closing Time by Semisonic both "get me" every time. Saving Private Ryan

just has an unbelievable story about a son who lost his brothers and message went from regiment to regiment so that he could be taken home, and yet when he was found, h
e refused to leave because he wanted to stay and fight for his biological brothers, his army brothers, and his country. Closing Time has been a song that's really memorable for me as well. All throughout high school, my friends and I would play the song whenever we stayed in restaurants until close or just before we'd be heading home from hanging out just for a quick laugh. Then on my last drive around town before I left to come down to Florida State from Buffalo, I threw my phone on shuffle and the last song that played before I got home was none other than Closing Time. Call it cliche, but the truth is the truth, and it really made me think about all the good times I've had with even better people. It'll do that for years to come too.
